5. Installation surfaces cleaning
(1) Clean the portions below with cleaning cloth
moistened with cleaning fluid.
. Flange surfaces of lower drum (
portions shown in the figure)
. Tape running surface and lead of the lower
drum
. Installation surface of a new upper drum
assembly ( portion shown in the
figure)
(2) Wipe the 20 contact pins of the upper drum
and the 20 contact patterns of the lower drum.

Do not apply cleaning fluid to the contact
pins and contact patterns.
