3. Plate(2) removal
(1) Remove the stop washer, and remove the ME
gear.
(2) Remove the three screws, then remove the
plate(2) in the direction indicated by the
arrow.
4. Gear box housing removal
Lift the gear box housing up, then remove it. At
that time, the two gears (GB(1) gear assembly
with ME gear and GB(2) gear assembly) in the
housing are removed together. The GB(3) gear
assembly is left on the mechanical deck.

Bearings are provided at the tip of each gear
shaft. Be careful not to lose them.
