Operating procedure
(1) Press the CROSS button on the SUBMASTER PANEL.
(2) Move the submaster fader to be crossed-in from 0 to FL.
This submaster fader is placed on the IN side.
This submaster fader is crossed with the composite value of the submaster fader's
output before the CROSS button on the SUBMASTER PANEL was pressed.
(3) Raise the submaster fader to be added.
This submaster fader is output independently of cross playback.
(4) Lower the OUT side submaster fader to level 0 to place it at the cross
end.
(5) Move the submaster fader to be crossed-in from 0 to FL.
This submaster fader is placed on the IN side.
This submaster fader is crossed with the composite value of the submaster fader's
output before cross-in.
In this case, the submaster fader on the OUT side is output independently of the
fader that was placed on the IN side before cross-in plus the cross playback.
(6) Raise the submaster fader to be added.
This submaster fader is output independently of cross playback.
(7) Lower the OUT side submaster fader to level 0 to place the fader at the
cross end.
(8) Repeat the steps (5) to (7).
(9) Press the CROSS button on the SUBMASTER PANEL to terminate the
cross mode.
The cross mode can be terminated only when the OUT side output is 0.
If the IN side is 100% (OUT side output is 0) and the fader on the OUT side is
raised, the CROSS LED for that fader blinks in green. In this case, that fader does
not function unless it is lowered to 0.
Notes
• Cross playback can be started only when all the faders on the OUT side are placed at the 0%
position.
• The submasters for which the INHIBIT function is active are not cross-played.
• Cross playback is disabled during touch operation.
• Touch operation overrides cross playback.
• When the fader on the IN side is lowered to 0%, the CROSS LED lit in red goes out and that fader
can be cancelled.
