<Example of use>
An example of using a keyboard filter is shown below.
(1) Block [Ctrl] + [Alt] + [Del] / [Windows] +[R] / [Shift] key with predefined key
1. Type "gpedit.msc" in the search field on the [Start] menu to start the Local Group Policy
Editor.
2. From the left side of the display screen, click to Local Computer Policy >
Computer Configuration > Administrative Templates > System> Keyboard Filter >
Security Keys.
3. Double click on Block Secure Desktop (Ctrl + Alt + Del), select Enable and click OK
(Filtering will be effective at this point, it takes several seconds to reflect) .
4. Click to Keyboard Filter > Desktop and Shell Keys.
5. Double-click Block Run Dialog (Windows + R), select Enable, and click OK.
6. Click to Keyboard Filter > Modifier Keys.
7. Double-click Block Shift Keys, select Enable, and click OK.
8. Close the Local Group Policy Editor and check that the key entry you set is blocked.
(2) Block [Windows] + [Home] key with custom key
Many predefined key combinations are provided, but if there are other combinations that
you want to block, you can define custom key combinations.
The following procedure blocks the combination of [Windows] + [Home] key (minimize
inactive windows) combination.
1. Launch Local Group Policy Editor and click to Local Computer Policy > Computer
Configuration > Administrative Templates > System> Keyboard Filter.
2. Double-click Custom Key Filters and select Enable.
3. Click Display in the "Options" window to display a list of custom key combinations to be
blocked (only blank lines are displayed for the first time use).
4. Enter "Windows + Home" in the blank line and add it to the list. If there are other
combinations you want to block, fill in the added blank line and then click OK.
5. Click OK in the "Custom Key Filters" window (filtering will take effect at this point, it
will take several seconds to reflect).
6. Close the Local Group Policy Editor and check that the key entry you set is blocked.

for details on the keys that can be blocked, the keys that can not be blocked, the syntax and
notes in the creation of custom keys.
