9. TROUBLESHOOTING

9.1.2 Problems that occur after the OS startup

The following is a list of problems that occur after the desktop is displayed (after the OS
startup).
(1) The alarm lamp is lit.
(2) The processing speed of the equipment is slow.
(3) The equipment does not respond.
(4) The equipment automatically goes into the standby mode, or restarts.
(5) The screen flickers or blacks out.
(6) In the screen resolution setting, an unconnected display is shown. (See page 9-8.)
(7) Screen display blinks or screen contents are displayed again after blackout in some cases.
(8) A blue screen is/was displayed.
(9) The equipment cannot connect to the network.
(10) The network connection is unstable, or the connection speed is slow.
(11) Keyboard input is not accepted.
(12) Mouse input is not accepted, or a cursor /button does not work normally.
(13) A USB device (other than a keyboard and a mouse) cannot be recognized or does not
work.
(14) A serial port or a parallel port does not work properly.
(15) The RAS external contact port does not work properly.
(16) The equipment cannot be shut down.
(17) "Mount setting confirmation" message is displayed
