(2) Mount setting of failure analysis information partition
Follow the steps below to set the mounting of the failure analysis information partition.
<Procedure>
1. If you are not logged on as a computer administrator account, log on with the computer's
administrator account.
2. Start the command prompt with administrator privileges.
3. On the Command Prompt screen, enter the following to create a folder in the failure
analysis information partition. (It may be output if a folder has already been created, but
please continue)
mkdir H:\SystemLog\Windows\winevt
mkdir H:\SystemLog\Windows\Minidump
mkdir H:\SystemLog\Windows\Appdump
mkdir H:\SystemLog\RAS_Software
icacls H:\SystemLog\Windows\Appdump /grant:r Everyone:(OI)(CI)(F)
4. Next, enter the following to delete the mount point and recreate the mount target folder.
mountvol C:\LogFolder /d
rmdir C:\LogFolder
mkdir C:\LogFolder
5. Then enter the following to check the volume information of the failure analysis
information partition.
mountvol
<Example of command execution result>
(Abbreviation)
\\?\Volume{d0f4d25d-df3c-11e6-a968-806e6f6e6963}\
(Abbreviation)
※Check the volume information of the volume indicated as "H: \" in the command
execution result.
The above (A) and (B) show the volume information and drive letter of the failure
analysis information partition (H :), respectively.
6. Then enter the following and reset the mount point.
mountvol C:\LogFolder XXXXX
※ For XXXXX, enter the volume information (A) of the failure analysis information
partition confirmed by the command execution result of step 5.

step 5)
