Note
Pole position identification is required for SIMOTICS T-1FW6 built-in torque motors with
incremental measuring systems.
The following techniques are possible to do this:
• The motion-based technique
• The saturation-based technique (1st harmonic)
For incremental measuring systems, generally fine synchronization is performed at the zero
mark. When commissioning the system for the first time, the angular commutation offset
(p0431) must be pre-assigned, see Chapter "Determining the angular commutation offset
(Page 193)".
For third-party motors, a pole position identification routine to determine the angular
commutation offset cannot be entered.
