Adjusting the Trimming Width

When you make a booklet, made up of several pages, and saddle
stitch it, sometimes you will need to trim the booklet's edges to make
them even.
IMPORTANT
• The Trim Width Adjustment mode is available only if the optional Booklet
Trimmer-C1 is attached to the optional Saddle Finisher-AB2 as a trimmer.
• If the trimming width is small, fine cuttings may output with a booklet. It is
recommended to set the trimming width larger.

➞ [Adjustment/Cleaning] ➞ [Trim Width
Press
Adjustment].

Enter the trimming width using the keys on the touch panel
display ➞ press [OK].
NOTE
• To enter values in inches, press [Inch].
• If you enter a value outside the setting range, a message prompting you to
enter an appropriate value appears on the screen.
• For instructions on entering values in inches, see "Values in Inches,"
on p. A2-21.
• If you make a mistake when entering values, press [C] on the touch panel
display ➞ enter the correct values.
