Tolerant encoder monitoring

The tolerant encoder monitoring offers the following expanded functionality regarding the
evaluation of encoder signals:
● Encoder track monitoring (Page 372)
● Zero mark tolerance (Page 373) (also for other sensor modules)
● Freeze speed raw value (Page 374)
● Adjustable hardware filter (Page 374)
● Edge evaluation of the zero mark (Page 375)
● Pole position adaptation (Page 376)
● Pulse number correction for faults (Page 377)
● Monitoring, tolerance band, pulse number (Page 378)
● Expansion of the encoder evaluation (1x, 4x) (Page 379)
● Setting the measuring time to evaluate speed "0" (Page 380)
● The number of current controller cycles can be set to generate the average value of the
speed actual value (Page 380)
These supplementary functions allow you to improve the evaluation of your encoder signals.
This may be necessary in special cases where the Control Unit receives incorrect encoder
signals or specific properties of the signals must be compensated for.
Some of these supplementary functions can be combined with one another.
