Additional adaptation of the correction angle
An additional adaptation of the correction angle for the positioning of the spindle may be
required for the selected machine kinematics or applications.
With the CUST_MEACYC.SPF manufacturer cycle, you can write the correction angles
_MEA_CORR_ANGLE[0] and _MEA_CORR_ANGLE[1].
These angles affect the spindle position / probe orientation when measuring or the internal
conversion of the trigger values if the spindle is not to be aligned in the switching direction (SD
55740 bit1 = 0, SPOS = 0 during measuring).

Measuring with probe that cannot be positioned

General
If a probe at the machine cannot be positioned about the infeed axis, all of the measuring
functions that require positioning or alignment are not carried out.
Examples of such measuring functions are:
● Calibrating in the reference ring with a start point that is not in the center of the ring
● Calibration at the ball
● Function 3D probe with spindle rotation
● Function align 3D probe
● Function spindle coupling with coordinate rotation
The following explanations refer to the use of the milling measurement cycles.
A distinction is made between two basic use cases:
● The probe is located in a "non-SPOS-capable spindle". These can be, for example, speed-
controlled spindles without position control or high-speed spindles.
● The probe is "permanently installed on the machine". This is possible, for example, with
laser finishing machines without a spindle or grinding machines.

Requirement
● Electronic 3D workpiece probe (multi-probe)
● Between the calibration and measurement, the user must guarantee an identical orientation
(spindle position) of the probe, for example by clamping or indexing.
