Disassemble and assemble parts as shown in illustra­
tion above. Also use the following instructions for specif­
ic points of disassembly, inspection and reassembly.
Distributor Inspection
1. Check cap for cracks or other damage.
2. Check rotor for cracks or other damage.
3. Check cap electrode and rotor electrode for damage.
Lubrication
Apply a small amount of engine oil to pin of vacuum con­
trol rod. NOTE: Excess oil can get on housing inside dur ­
ing operation and cause problems.
