Brake Pedal Adjustment

1. Loosen jam nut on link rod ball joint.
2. Rotate rod until gap between brake pedal and up stop
is 0.020 to 0.080 inch (0.5 to 2 mm).
3. Tighten jam nut after making adjustment.
Worn or misadjusted brakes may result in
personal injury. If brake pedal travels to with­
� (38 mm) of the vehicle floor board, the

brakes must be adjusted or repaired.
