Path curvature
Path curvature is not monitored. In such cases, it is also advisable to use only tools of a type
that do not violate the contour.
Insertion depth (ISD)
Insertion depth ISD is only evaluated when 3D tool radius compensation is active.
Program command ISD (insertion depth) is used to program the tool insertion depth for
circumferential milling operations. This makes it possible to change the position of the
machining point on the outer surface of the tool.
