Axis couplings
9.5 Synchronous spindle
Velocity, acceleration: FA, ACC, OVRA, VELOLIMA
Axial velocity and acceleration of a following spindle can be programmed with:
● FA[SPI(Sn)] and FA[Sn] (axial velocity)
● ACC[SPI(Sn)] and ACC[Sn] (axial acceleration)
● OVRA[SPI(Sn)] and OVRA[Sn] (axial override)
● VELOLIMA[SPI(Sn)] and VELOLIMA[Sn] (increase and reduction of axial velocity
Where n = 1, 2, 3, etc. (spindle numbers of the following spindles)

Note
Acceleration component JERKLIMA[Sn]
Programming an increase or reduction in axial velocity is currently ineffective for spindles.

Programmable block change behavior WAITC
WAITC can be used to define block change behavior, for example after a change to coupling
parameters or positioning actions, with a variety of synchronism conditions (coarse, fine,
IPOSTOP). If no synchronism conditions are specified, the block change behavior specified
in the COUPDEF definition will apply.
Example:
Wait for synchronism condition according to COUPDEF to be fulfilled
WAITC( )
Wait for synchronism condition FINE to be fulfilled for following spindle S2 and COARSE to be
fulfilled for following spindle S4:
WAITC(S2, "FINE", S4, "COARSE")
