24.14 Specify Ethernet communication settings

To establish an Ethernet connection, make the network settings in Laser Marker NAVI smart
according to the requirements of your network environment.
The Ethernet interface can be connected simultaneously via a hub or a router to a PC for
configuration or command control, to an external device (e.g. PLC or PC) for command
control, and to a specific imagechecker.
Ethernet communication should be performed in a secure network environment.
1.
Establish an online connection between your PC and the laser marking system.
2.
Go to the "System settings" screen and select "Communication".
3.
Set the Ethernet communication settings according to your network environment.
Even if the values for the IP address and the subnet mask are within the configurable
range, they may be invalid because of their combination.
4.
Select "Apply to laser marking system" in the ribbon.
5.
Disconnect the online connection with the laser marking system.
