Cause:
LP-GS (except LP-GS051-L): The set z-position does not match the
height of the actual workpiece.
Remedy:
Set the z-position according to the workpiece height.
Cause:
The marking surface of the workpiece is inclined.
Remedy:
Make sure the bottom surface of the laser head and the marking surface
of the workpiece are parallel to each other.
Cause:
The workpieces have varying properties for thickness, surface condition
(roughness, gloss level, etc.), and material (incl. chemical composition).
Remedy:
Adjust the marking settings and work distance for each workpiece.
Cause:
The workpiece feeder is unstable.
Remedy:
Adjust the workpiece feeder so that the position of the workpiece will be
stable.
Cause:
The performance of the laser oscillator deteriorated due to aging.
Remedy:
Increase the laser power.
Decrease the scan speed.
If the initial marking quality cannot be reached even if the laser power
is set to the maximum value, the laser oscillator must be replaced.

Cause:
LP-RV: The setting value of the pulse duration is incorrect.
Remedy:
Adjust the pulse duration according to the material of the workpiece.
For plastic, 4ns or 8ns is a common setting. For metal, 16ns or 30ns are
often used.
