Open and save an existing marking file to your PC (offline mode)
You can open an existing marking file from your PC, make changes and save your changed
file to your PC or a network drive.

Open the "Startup" screen by starting Laser Marker NAVI smart.

You have two options to open a marking file.

You can edit marking objects and specify the marking settings.
4.
If you edit a marking file in offline mode, you must save it to your PC before you can
transfer it to the laser marking system.
The file is saved in the marking file format .lms to your local or network drive.

You can later transfer a marking file to the laser marking system, if you want to mark it
on a workpiece.
Establish an online connection and add the marking file to the list in "Data
management" > "Marking files".

You can open a marking file from the "Recent files" list.
Select a file from the list and select "Open".
If the file is not shown in the "Recent files" list, select "Offline" > "Open..." > "Marking
file (.lms)".
Choose a marking file (.lms) from your local or network drive and select "Open".
The selected file is opened in the "Marking settings" screen.
Select "Save" > "Save" or >"Save as" to save the marking file on a local or network
drive.
After saving the file, you can select "Save as" to create a copy of the existing file
under a new name.
