I/O control fails
Cause:
The settings in the "System settings" are incorrect.
Remedy:
Make sure that the control method is set to "I/O" in "System
settings" > "Operation/information".
Check the I/O settings in "System settings" > "Inputs/outputs".
For EtherNet/IP or PROFINET connections, check the settings
for "Control method of input signals" in "System settings" >
"Communication".
If you have changed any of the above settings, restart the laser marking
system.
Command control fails
Cause:
Communication commands are not received from the external device.
Remedy:
Check the commands in "Maintenance" > "Command history".
Use a commercially available line monitor or protocol analyzer to
check if the external device sends data.
Cause:
The start code is incorrect.
Remedy:
Check if the setting for "Start code" specified in the "System settings"
matches the start code in the data from the external device.
If you use EtherNet/IP or PROFINET, make sure that the command
data do not contain the start code.
Cause:
The end code is incorrect.
Remedy:
For RS232C and Ethernet connections, make sure the data from the
external device contain an end code.
For RS232C connections, check if the setting for "End code" specified
in the "System settings" matches the end code in the data from the
external device.
If you use EtherNet/IP or PROFINET, make sure that the command
data do not contain the end code.
