4.3.1.5 Volume Creation (Setting5)
Create the volume (area in the disk drives in the RAID group).

Click the [Setting5] button in the [Tutorial] wizard.
Setting5: starting [Volume creation] screen appears.

Click the [Execute] button.
A screen to select the RAID group to create the volume appears.

Select the RAID group in which volumes are to be created, and click the [Next >]
button.
A screen to create volume appears.

When operating with factory default settings, this setting is not required.
When changing the factory default setting, delete the factory setting (vol-
ume, RAID group, and LUN mapping) and then register the HotSpare
disk. For details on deleting the setting, refer to "ETERNUS2000
ETERNUSmgr User Guide -Settings/Maintenance-".

• Do not move disks that the RAID group or volume is set for, or that are
registered as HotSpare disks, to another slot.
