Additional Drive Enclosure Installation

This section describes how to install a drive enclosure for the ETERNUS2000.

First check that all the components of the ETERNUS2000 are in normal status,
using the Device Status display menu of the maintenance program.

Wear an antistatic wrist strap or touch the metal frame of the ETERNUS2000 to
discharge static electricity.

Stop all I/O access by the server(s).
