2 Re-connect the miniSAS cable.
3 Make sure that power is being supplied, then turn the ETERNUS2000 on.

connector in the SAS port.
When an Expansion failure screen is displayed during battery unit expansion
Check the following points. If none of these resolve the problem, leave the ETERNUS2000 alone and con-
tact your maintenance engineer.

Click the [OK] button on the Expansion failure screen and finish the expansion.

Check that the general status lamp in the system status display screen is
(Recovery).

Check that the battery unit switch is ON (|).

Click the [Hot expansion...] button on the [System] tab screen and perform the
expansion again.
