General Description
Ten DIRECT STATION SELECTION (DSS) [D-26] keys are provided on the Console for direct access to
frequently called outside numbers or to emergency numbers such as fire, police, or ambulance.
Operating Procedure
To originate a call, press LOOP key and the desired DSS key.
Service Conditions
1.
A maximum of ten keys are provided for DIRECT STATION SELECTION [D-26] on each console.
2.
DSS outside numbers are assigned via the MAT for each console individually.
3.
DSS keys cannot be used in setting MESSAGE WAITING [M-6], DO NOT DISTURB [D-11],
AUTOMATIC WAKE-UP [A-10], or similar services.
4.
A maximum of 14 digits can be assigned per key.
5.
DIRECT STATION SELECTION [D-26] services remain intact.
