The following commands display OSPF Database information:

Command Syntax and Usage
show ip ospf database
Displays all the Link State Advertisements (LSAs).
Command mode: All
show ip ospf database advertisingrouter <router ID (IP address)>
Takes advertising router as a parameter. Displays all the LSAs in the LS
database that have the advertising router with the specified router ID, for
example: 20.1.1.1.
Command mode: All
show ip ospf database area <0‐19>
Displays LS database information for the specified OSPF area.
Command mode: All
show ip ospf database asbrsummary [advertisingrouter
<router ID (IP address)>|linkstateid <link state ID (IP address)>|self]
Displays ASBR summary LSAs. The usage of this command is as follows:
asbrsummary advertisingrouter 20.1.1.1 displays ASBR
summary LSAs having the advertising router 20.1.1.1.
asbrsummary linkstateid 10.1.1.1 displays ASBR summary
LSAs having the link state ID 10.1.1.1.
asbrsummary self displays the self advertised ASBR summary LSAs.
asbrsummary with no parameters displays all the ASBR summary LSAs.
Command mode: All
show ip ospf database databasesummary
Displays the following information about the LS database in a table format:
Number of LSAs of each type in each area.
Total number of LSAs for each area.
Total number of LSAs for each LSA type for all areas combined.
Total number of LSAs for all LSA types for all areas combined.
No parameters are required.
Command mode: All
show ip ospf database external [advertisingrouter
<router ID (IP address)>|linkstateid <link state ID (IP address)>|self]
Displays the AS‐external (type 5) LSAs with detailed information of each field
of the LSAs.
