These commands provide configuration of switch management parameters such as
user and administrator privilege mode passwords, web‐based management
settings and management access lists.

Command Syntax and Usage
banner <1‐80 characters>
Configures a login banner of up to 80 characters. When a user or administrator
logs into the switch, the login banner is displayed. It is also displayed as part of
the output from the show sysinfo command.
Command mode: Global configuration
no banner
Deletes the login banner.
Command mode: Global configuration
[no] boot strict enable
Enables or disables switch operation in security strict mode. When enabled,
the authentication and privacy protocols and algorithms of the device are
compliant with NIST SP‐800‐131A, with non‐complaint protocols and
algorithms disabled.
Note: This setting is applied only after a reboot, during which the device will
be reset to default factory configuration.
By default, this setting is disabled.
Command mode: Global configuration
easyconnect
Allows to apply a series of customizable and predefined configurations based
on common deployment scenarios. The EasyConnect (EZC) wizard will
display the available configuration options. For more details on using the EZC
wizard, see the Lenovo RackSwitch G8264 Application Guide for Lenovo Enterprise
Network Operating System 8.4.
Note: Not available in stacking.
Command mode: Privileged EXEC
enable password
Configures a password required to enter Privileged EXEC command mode.
By default, no password is required.
Command mode: Global configuration
no enable
Removes the configured password required to enter Privileged EXEC
command mode.
