Because only the items necessary for the application mode are displayed, data entry is easy. There are the following four variations in the application mode.

    4.2 Three-Point Calibration (Linearity adjustment) For the GP-X series, linearity adjustment in respect to the distance is made before shipment from the factory with a set of a sensor head and controller. If adjustment is made for the material to be detected and operating environ- ment, linearity with increased accuracy is obtained.
