6.5.10 Replacing the SPD

Prerequisites



Procedure
Step 1 On the controller home screen, tap Shutdown, and turn off the device switch in the PDC.
Exercise caution because the device is still energized after it is shut down on the controller
home screen.
Step 2 Open the door of the electric control box.
Step 3 Remove the cables from the faulty SPD, remove the end fastener from the end of the faulty
SPD on the guide rail, unclamp the buckle of the SPD, and remove the SPD.
Step 4 Install a new SPD, install the end fastener, and reconnect the cables.
Step 5 Close the door of the electric control box.
Step 6 Power on the device and tap Startup on the home screen. Ensure that the device is running
normally without any alarms.

Issue 02 (2019-10-10)
The SPD (Figure 3-32 shows the position of SPD) needs to be replaced.
A spare SPD of the same model is available and functional.
Tool: Phillips screwdriver
The relay (Figure 3-32 shows the position of relay) needs to be replaced.
A spare relay of the same model is available and functional.
Tool: Phillips screwdriver
