Use an existing table as a template for a new table (see
Templates" on page
5.
Close the dialog box by pressing "Ok".
A zero offset table with the selected configuration is created and is opened in
the zero offset editor.
Proceed as follows to use any zero offset table as a template:
1.
Open the "New" dialog box (see
zero offset table" on page
2.
If necessary, enter a new name for the zero offset table.

Select the field "Template" in the "New" dialog box.
The entry field for the name of the template (default: "ZO1.zot") is activa‐
ted. If the default "ZO1.zot" is not used, a name with the path information
of another zero offset table can be entered here. If a table name is entered
without path information, the template is sought in the path "/database".
4.
Acknowledge the entry by pressing the <Ok> button.
The new table is opened in the zero offset editor. The number of correction
pages and correction values is adopted from the given template.
Functions on the Main Level of the Zero Offset Editor
The functional key <F2> "Add correction page" can be used to add new zero
point data sets to the table. New data sets are attached to the end of the table.
Zero point data sets are assigned running numbers (correction
page 1-5).
<F3> "Remove correction page" is used to remove the last zero point data set.
"Additive value entry" can be used to enter correction values that are to be
added to the existing value (see
Menu Tools
The function "Add axis" can be used to add a new axis at any location.

Select the axis in front of which the new axis is to be inserted (i.e. any cell
of the axis has to be selected).

Press the <F2> "Add axis" key.
The selected axis is highlighted. A dialog box for adding a new axis opens
(see
fig. 7-12 " Dialog box for adding a new axis" on page

Enter the name of the axis (maximum of 8 characters).
4.
Select axis type "Linear axis" or "Rotary axis".
5.
If necessary, specify a special channel ("0" for all)

If the axis is to be attached, "Attach axis" also has to be selected.
