Overview
NC programming is described in this chapter.

Programming operating mode
NC programming is conducted with the help of the NC program editor. The NC
program editor can be opened several times in the operating mode, if required,
to open several NC programs. The NC program editor is aligned with the Win‐
dows standard in regard to the usual key combinations (selecting, block com‐
mands, search, etc.). It has the following basic characteristics:

Basic mechanisms to avoid data loss (BAK files).
●
Navigation: character by character, word by word, line by line, Home, End,
and via Search function.
●
Slider function using slider bar, slider mouse, cursor positioning and keys.
●
Selection: character by character, word by word, line by line, entire file.
