The NTAC interface is part of the control system of the drive if pulse
encoder feedback is used to control the motor.

The NTAC module communicates with the AMC circuit board of the INU
via a fast optical link using the standard DDCS protocol. The optical fibers
are connected to channel 1 of the AMC circuit board.
The NTAC interface is DIN rail-mounted inside the control compartment
(Fig. 3-6:
1).
The indicated mounting position can vary depending on the number of
optional devices present in the control compartment.
