CAUTION: While performing the next step, be careful not to break the plastic
retaining tab that secures the clamp to the heat sink.
1. Insert the head of a small, flat-bladed screwdriver into the space between the bottom
of the clamp (side closest to the edge of the system board) and the socket. Press down
on the top of the clamp. Carefully pull the clamp away from the tab.
2. Ease the clamp up and away from the heat sink and the microprocessor.
