Sunlight sensor

Outline
q The sunlight sensor is mounted on top of the ma-
chine monitor.
q It detects the strength of incident sunlight and
sends signals to the air conditioner controller.
When performing automatic air conditioning, the
q
air conditioner controller controls the blower mo-
tor and the air mix servomotor with the data of
the sunlight sensor in order to adjust the temper-
ature and air flow.

q The outside (air) temperature sensor is installed
on the bracket in the cooling unit. (See "Parts
and connectors layout".)
q The outside air temperature sensor has feature
of change in resistance by temperature change,
therefore, can detect the ambient temperature.
q The air conditioner controller detects the ambi-
ent temperature by converting the changes in
the resistance of the outside air temperature
sensor into voltage changes.
q When performing automatic air conditioning, the
air conditioner controller controls the blower mo-
tor and the air mix servomotor with the data of
the outside (air) temperature sensor in order to
adjust the temperature and air flow.
