5) Run the engine at high idle, set all the
levers and pedals for work equipment con-
trol, swing control, and travel control in
neutral, and measure the oil pressure.
Then, operate the travel lever to run the
track in the air and measure the oil pres-
sure.

While taking extreme care for
safety, run the raised track shoe.
a Do not operate the travel lever to its
stroke end (but stop it halfway).

method: When the hydraulic pres-
sures are within ratio in the table, LS
valve is normal.

a Measure the pump discharge pressure
and LS pressure (actuator load pressure)
simultaneously and calculate the differ-
ence between them, to obtain the LS dif-
ferential pressure.
1) Open the side cover of the pump room
and remove oil pressure pickup plugs (1),
(2), (5), and (6).
