3. Checking PPC valve
While the pressure in the accumulator is high,
set the lock lever to the LOCK/FREE position
and measure the lowering distance.
a Operate the control lever while the starting
switch is in the ON position.
a If the pressure in the accumulator is lost,
run the engine for approximately 5 sec-
onds to increase the pressure in the accu-
mulator.
a If there is a difference in the lowering dis-
tance between the LOCK position and
FREE position, the PPC valve is defective
(it has an internal defect).
