7.3.2 Errors generated during the recovery process and corrective actions

When an error occurs during the recovery process, record the error message and the error code displayed in the
window, and take action as shown in the following table. If you take action accordingly but are still unable to
proceed with the recovery process, or if the no. 8 error message appears, contact our sales representative.

7. RESTORING THE FACTORY-SHIPPED CONDITION USING A RECOVERY DVD

• Check the integrity of the system drive, such as by
performing read and write tests.
• Retry the recovery process.
• Check the integrity of the recovery DVD, such as by
performing read tests.
• Verify that the DVD drive works properly, such as by
performing read tests.
• Verify that the system drive is connected correctly.
