Procedure
Step 1 Tap Shutdown on the home screen of the display module.
Step 2 Open the front door and turn off the general switch. For a device that has two
power inputs, turn off the active power switch QF1 and standby power switch
QF2.
Step 3 (For the upflow units) Remove the electric control box cover, remove the cord end
terminals 1, 2, 3, and 5 from the actuator using a small-sized flat-head
screwdriver, and cut off the cable ties of the actuator to ensure that the actuator
cables are separated from the unit.
Step 4 (For the downflow units) At the terminal position in the upper left corner of the
unit, remove the cord end terminals 1, 2, 3, and 5 from the actuator using a small-
sized flat-head screwdriver, and cut off the cable ties of the actuator to ensure
that the actuator cables are separated from the unit.
Step 5 Remove the chilled water valve actuator.

Step 6 Install a new water valve actuator.

Pull out the actuator handle upwards, as shown by (1) in
Figure 6-26 Removing the chilled water valve actuator
Insert the hex key on the handle into the hole on the front of the actuator, as
shown by (2) in Figure
Turn the handle in the direction shown by (3) in
screw and remove the actuator.
(Optional) Use the actuator handle to remove the locating pin from the hole
in the mounting kit of the new actuator. See
