4.5.4.2 Setting Communications Parameters (Modbus TCP Protocol)

Context
This section applies to the scenario where the device is connected to the NMS.
Procedure
Step 1 On the home screen, choose Settings > Comm Settings > IP Settings. The IP
assigning mode is set to Manual. Set IP address, Subnet mask, Gateway
according to the actual plan.

Step 2 On the home screen, choose Settings > Comm Settings > Modbus Settings. Set
Link mode to Server and client or Client, and set Client encryption to Enable.

Step 3 Enter the actual IP address of the EMS.
Step 4 When Client encryption is set to Enable, set NMS port number to 32907, when
Client encryption is set to Disable, set NMS port number to 32906.The
encryption mode must be the same as it on the NMS.
