3.6.6 (Optional) Connecting the Gravity Damper (Applicable
To Upflow Units)
For details about how to connect the gravity damper, see the documents delivered
with it.
3.6.7 (Optional) Connecting the Motorized Damper
(Applicable To Downflow Units)
After powering on the NetCol8000, choose Settings > System Settings >
Common Settings, and set Motorized Damper to Enable.

delivered with it.
3.6.8 (Optional) Connecting the T/H Sensor Outside the
Cabinet
Context
T/H sensors outside the cabinet are configured to detect the temperatures of
cold/hot aisles. They can be flexibly installed on the server cabinet based on site
situations. It is recommended that the T/H sensors be deployed near heat sources
in the hot aisle, or in places which lacks cooling air in the cold aisle. Place the T/H
sensors on the cabinet adjacent to the smart cooling product without directly
facing the exhaust vents of the smart cooling product.
Procedure
Step 1 Connect the T/H sensors outside the cabinet and the T/H sensors at the return air
side in series.
