9 TROUBLE SHOOTING
Symptom
Unable to print a Web
screen (Web browser
displays "No response".)
Error details are not
displayed in the self-
diagnostics monitor
screen.
(Only an error code is
displayed.)
A file named
"hs_err_pid****.log" is
created on the desktop.
("****" represents
numbers.)
While the Web screen is
being updated, an error
dialog box appears.
The device numbers
which are specified for
the Device monitor
function cannot be
monitored.

Check point
Web browser's print function was used for
printing.
Check if temporary Internet files have been
deleted.
Check if Java VM of version 1.6.0_25 or later
is used.
The screen was switched or updated while
the Web screen was not fully displayed.
Monitoring is not attempted for the devices
of RCPU which do not exist in QCPU or C
Controller module.

Corrective action
 Take a screen shot of the Web screen,
paste it on graphics editing software and
print it by using the print function on the
software.
 Delete the temporary Internet files of the
Web browser and JAVA VM. Then monitor
the screen again. (Refer to Section 6.2.7
(1) (e).)
 Delete the file and perform the usual
operation.
Even if a file is created, the Web server
module operates normally.
 To avoid the file creation, perform either of
the following operations.
1) Clear the "Enable the next-generation
Java Plug-in (requires browser restart)"
checkbox. For the operating procedure,
refer to the Java website of Oracle
Corporation.

2) Use Java VM of version 1.6.0_24 or
earlier.
 After the Web screen is fully displayed, wait
for several seconds then switch or update
the screen. (Refer to Operating Instructions
"Precautions for access to Web server
module" (1) (b).)
 Access the devices within the range that
can be set for QCPU or C Controller
module.
