9 TROUBLE SHOOTING
Symptom
The created user HTML
is not displayed
properly.
The audio part does not
play sounds.
Display (sounds) does
not change even after
the tag component
value falls within the
specified range.
Graphical display parts
are not displayed.
An old user HTML is
displayed. (Display data
are improper.)

Check point
The screen was switched or updated while
the Web screen was not fully displayed.
Check that Java 7 is used.

Check that Windows
8.1 is used.
The speaker has not been powered ON.
The volume is not correct.
The personal computer does not have audio
playback hardware.
Other sounds cannot be played on the
personal computer being used.
A WAV format audio file was specified when
®
using Microsoft
VM.
The device value corresponding to the tag
component cannot be retained for a time
longer than the tag collection interval and
communication time.
An animation GIF is used.
Check if temporary Internet files have been
deleted.

Corrective action
 After the Web screen is fully displayed, wait
for several seconds then switch or update
the screen. (Refer to Operating Instructions
"Precautions for access to Web server
module" (1) (b).)
 Delete the temporary Internet files of the
Web browser and JAVA VM. Then display
the screen again. (Refer to Section 6.2.7
(1) (e).)
 Restart the personal computer.
 Check that the URL of the Web server
module is registered in the "Exception site
list" of Java, or the security level of Java is
changed to "Medium".
(Refer to Section 3.1 (7).)
 When displaying a user screen using
multiple applet parts, disable the "Enable
the next-generation Java Plug-in" (requires
all browsers restart).
(Refer to Section 3.1 (8).)
 Select [Tool] - [Compatibility View
Settings] on the Internet Explorer
register the URL of the Web server
module.
 Add the following text between <head>
and </head> in the source of the created
user screen.
<meta http-equiv="x-ua-compatible"
content="IE=EmulateIE9">
 Turn on the speaker.
 Adjust the volume.
 Use a personal computer that has audio
playback hardware.
 Use a personal computer that is capable of
audio replay.
 Specify an AU format audio file.
 Keep the device value corresponding to a
tag component for a time longer than the
tag collection interval and communication
time in the sequence program.
 Use a usual GIF file or JPEG file.
 Delete the temporary Internet files of the
Web browser and JAVA VM. Then display
the screen again. (Refer to Section 6.2.7
(1) (e).)
