BASIC OPERATIONS
When you have finished using this unit:
lf you switch the amp's POWER switch to the STANDBY position,
power to other components will also be switched off.
TUNING INTO STATIONS (Tuner operation)
1. Select the desired broadcasting band using BAND selector button.
2. Tune in to your desired station with the TUNING/TIME JOG dial.
[Auto tuning]
Turn the TUNING/TIME JOG dial quickly half a revolution or more,
release, and the frequency continues to automatically change until a
station of found. When a station is found, the tuner stops on that station,
and the TUNED indicator lights.
NOTE:
e Auto tuning is not possible on the LW band (F-Z570L).
@ When auto tuning is in use, reception may not be possible for distant
stations or when signals are weak. At these times manual tuning is
recommended.

© Turn the TUNING/TIME JOG dial slowly to change the frequency,
When a station is tuned in, the TUNED indicator lights.
¢ During Auto tuning, turning the dial rapidly once more makes the
frequency change more rapidly. The tuner stops changing the
frequency when the dial is released.
¢ STEREO indicator
When the MPX button is in the off position (MONO indicator is out),
the STEREO indicator lights during reception of an FM stereo broadcast.
¢ MONDO indicator
If you are listening to an FM stereo broadcast a long way from the
broadcast station, in an area where the broadcast signal is weak, or
when there is a lot of noise, select MONO by pressing the MPX (FM
MONO) button. You'll then be listening in mono, but it will be much
clearer.
¢ LOCAL indicator
lf the broadcast station is very near, the FM broadcast signal may be
too strong, resulting in noise and distortion. In this case, press LOCAL
button. LOCAL indicator lights.

SYNTONISATION DE STATIONS a
(Opération tuner)
1. Sélectionner la gamme d'émission désirée a l'aide du sélecteur
BAND.
2. Syntoniser la station désirée a l'aide du cadran TUNING/TIME JOG.
[Syntonisation automatique]
Tourner rapidement le cadran TUNING/TIME JOG d'un demi-tour ou
plus, le relacher et la fréquence continue a changer automatiquement
jusqu'a ce qu'une station soit trouvée. Lorsqu'une station est trouvée,
le tuner s'arréte sur cette station et l'indicateur TUNED s'allume.
REMARQUE:
© La syntonisation automatique n'est pas possible sur la gamme LW
(GO) (F-Z570L).
© Lorsque la syntonisation automatique est utilisée, la réception peut
ne pas étre possible pour des stations distantes ou lorsque les signaux
sont faibles. Dans ces cas, la syntonisation manuelle est
recommandée.
[Syntonisation manuelle]
© Tourner lentement le cadran TUNING/TIME JOG pour changer la
fréquence. Lorsqu'une station est syntonisée, |'indicateur TUNED
s'allume.
© Pendant la syntonisation manuelle, une rotation rapide du cadran fait
changer la fréquence plus rapidement. Le tuner arréte de changer de
station lorsque le cadran est relaché.

Lorsque la touche MPX est sur la position OFF (I'indicateur MONO est
éteint), l'indicateur STEREO s'allume durant la réception d'une émission
stéréo FM.

Lors de I'écoute d'une émission stéréo FM a une grande distance de
la station d'émission, dans une zone ow le signal d'émission est faible,
ou lorsqu'il y a beaucoup de parasites, sélectionner MONO en appuyant
sur la touche multiplex (FM MONO). L'écoute est alors en mono, mais
elle est beaucoup plus claire.

Si la station d'émission est trés proche, le signal d'émission FM peut
tre trop fort, ce qui entraine des parasites et une distorsion. Dans ce
cas, appuyer sur la touche LOCAL. L'indicateur LOCAL s'allume.
