Removal and Installation Routines

CLI session with the Switch Blade is opened.

To end the CLI session, enter [Exit].

 Console>enable
 Console#config
 Console(config)#interface vlan 1
 Console(config-if)#ip address 10.50.50.51 255.0.0.0
 Console(config-if)#exit
 Console#show ip interface
 TP address and netmask: 10.50.50.51 255.0.0.0 on VLAN 1,
 and address mode: User specified

 Console#
Ê Enter the commands above.
Please bear in mind that the entries for IP address and subnetmask

are merely examples and will probably differ from your system.
Ê You can check the newly established LAN connection by pinging the switch
blade on the client machine.
Ê Install and run your TFTP server software and copy the desired firmware file
into the TFTP file system root directory.
Ê Start an internet browser on the client server. In the address input field, enter
the IP address specified above. Enter admin as both user name and
password.
Ê In the navigation bar choose Flash/File and enter your TFTP server's IP
address and file name.
Ê Click the Transfer from Server button.
Ê Once the upgrade process is complete, choose Reset from the navigation.
After resetting, the switch blade will reboot. However, all settings

specified before (IP address etc.) will be lost and must be reentered
on the management console.
