Opening a Server Blade

! Server blades can be extremely sensitive to electrostatic discharge and
must always be handled carefully. Before you remove the cover plate
from the server blade, place it on a non-conductive, antistatic surface. Do
not slide the server blade over any surface.
Ê Press down the two top cover release latches (1) simultaneously to
disengage the locking mechanism of the cover plate, slide the cover plate (2)
backward and lift it off.
