Step 3: Removing the midplane

Ê Remove the 10 screws (1) on the back of the rear chassis and the two
countersunk screws (2) on the sides of the rear chassis.
Ê Lift up the midplane and carefully remove it from its installation location.
Ê Rest the midplane on top of the server casing.
Installation
Ê Installation of the midplane is performed in reverse order.
