Exchanging an FC pass-thru Blade

Electrostatically discharge yourself by touching a grounded object before

handling the components. Be aware that electrostatic-sensitive devices
(ESDs) should only be held at the edges and placed on a pad which is
free of electrostatic charge.
Any devices or tools that are used must be free of electrostatic charge.
For this purpose wear an electrostatic wristband or use a suitable
grounding cable that connects you to the external chassis of the system
unit.
Always reinstall FC pass-thru blades or dummy blades as soon as possible
so that all two slots are continuously occupied. This is necessary in order
to satisfy cooling requirements and to comply with applicable EMC
regulations.
Removal
Ê Press the spring on the underside of the eject handle to unlock it.
