PRIMERGY BX620 S2: Rules for fitting memory modules

Observe the following sequence when installing DDR2 400 SDRAM modules.

Fit the DIMM sockets in the order of their numbering. First fill the DIMM sockets
that are furthest away from the MCH chip. If you are installing SDRAM modules
with different capacities, the larger capacity modules must be installed in the
slots closest to the MCH chip (higher numbers).
Example: Two 1-GB SDRAM modules and two 2-GB SDRAM modules with a
total memory capacity of 6 GB are to be installed in a PRIMERGY BX620 S2.
In this case, the 1-GB SDRAM modules must be installed in slots 1 and 2 and
the 2-GB modules must be installed in slots 3 and 4.

The DDR SDRAM modules are installed and removed in the same way
as in the PRIMERGY BX620 server blade, see
