8.5.22 Replacing a Contactor

Procedure
Step 1 Open the door of the electric control box.
Step 2 On the home screen of the display module, tap Shutdown and turn off the device
switch in the PDF.
Exercise caution because the device is still energized after it is shut down on the
home screen of the display module.
Step 3 Press the snap ring of the faulty contactor using a flat-head screwdriver and pull
the contactor outwards to remove it.

Step 4 Install the new contactor. Clamp the clip at the lower side of the new contactor to
the guide rail, push the contactor upwards, and press the contactor inwards.
Step 5 Connect the cables again.
Step 6 Close the door of the electric control box.

A contactor needs to be replaced.
A spare contactor of the same model is available and functional.
Tools: Phillips screwdriver, flat-head screwdriver
