Context
● Reclaim or dispose of the refrigerant in accordance with the local laws and
regulations. During the reclaim process, the R410A refrigerant composition may
change. Therefore, you are not advised to refill the reclaimed R410A refrigerant
to the cooling system.
● When replacing a compressor, avoid skin contact with the refrigerant or
lubricant to prevent frostbite or burns.
● Do not tilt the compressor during replacement to prevent lubricant leakage.
● Install a new compressor immediately after you remove the rubber plugs of
suction inlet and discharge outlet to prevent the moisture intake.
Procedure
Step 1 On the home screen of the display module, tap Shutdown and turn off the device
switch in the PDF.
Exercise caution because the device is still energized after it is shut down on the
screen of the display module.
Step 2 Remove the adjustable side panels for the compressor.
Step 3 Reclaim the refrigerant from the low pressure needle valve and liquid pipe needle
valve to ensure that there is no pressure inside the system.
Step 4 Remove the refrigerant oil heating belt and ground cable from the compressor.
Step 5 Remove the connection box cover, remove cables from the compressor, and
remove the cable trough.
Step 6 Remove the compressor.

A compressor needs to be replaced.
A spare compressor of the same model is available and functional.
To replace a compressor, you also need to replace the filter dryer.
Recommended tools and materials: Phillips screwdriver, two 45# adjustable
wrenches, 45# and 50# torque wrenches, 13# and 30# solid wrenches or
socket wrenches, new compressor, air filter, refrigerant reclaiming devices,
refrigerant charging devices, and R410A refrigerant

Use a welding torch to separate the welding points for the suction and
discharge pipes from the compressor. After the separation, seal the suction
and discharge outlets immediately.
