4.2 Installing the Accessories

4.2.1 Developer Assembly and Drum Unit
CAUTION: To prevent damage or poor print quality , do not touch the green drum,
or expose it to room light for more than the 3 minutes. Never expose
the drum to direct sunlight.
(1) Grasp the Top cover release lever to open the Top cover.

(2) Hold the Developer assembly with both hands and shake the cartridge back and forth
several times.
