3.17 Paper Pickup Solenoid Drive Circuit

The paper pickup solenoid drive circuit consists of the I/OP-2 GA (IC48) and other peripheral
devices. It drives the paper pickup solenoid of the recording paper tray which is connected to
CN17 on the Mother PBA and controls the recording paper feed timing for recording paper
during printing.
The I/OP-2 GA causes the APF signal to be HIGH to turn on Q253. This allows the APF signal
to be at GND level to drive the paper pickup solenoid for feeding the recording paper.
