3.6.2 Device Error Codes
Device Error Code indicates the cause of a device error by a 2-digit number.
Error Code
21
The Process unit replaced failed to oper-
ate normally.
22
The Fuser did not exceed 25°C within 15
seconds after it is turned ON.
23
The Fuser did not reach the air tempera-
ture within 90 seconds after it is turned ON.
24
The Fuser did not reach the print tempera-
ture within 30 seconds after it is turned ON.
25
The Fuser has exceeded the upper or
lower limit temperature.
41
The polygon motor in the LSU failed to op-
erate.
42
The laser beam was not controlled cor-
rectly.
50
The Main motor did not operate normally.
51
The Fan was not connected.
60
There was no response to the paper feed
command from the Optional recording pa-
per tray (Middle-row/Lower-row when one
Optional recording paper tray is installed).
61
There was no response to the paper feed
command from the Optional recording pa-
per tray (Lower-row).
80
The DSC (IC59) failed to operate normally.
81
The RTC (IC23) failed to operate normally.
82
The MODEM (IC5) for LINE-1 failed to op-
erate normally.
